Mrs. Wilma Hans, 91 of Plantersville, passed away Saturday, July, 18, 2015 at her home. Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held at 10:00am, Thursday, July 23rd at Plantersville Baptist Church with interment in the Plantersville Cemetery. Rev. Chris Tyler will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Wilma was born in Houston, Texas on April 18, 1924 to Orel and Maude (Nobles) Grant. She married Lawrence Raymond Hans and together they raised a son, Lawrence “Nipper” Raymond Hans, Jr.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Katie Wheatfall of Navasota, great grandchildren Kaleb Thompson, Ja’mikal Thompson, Chasity Wheatfall, Jaylen Wheatfall, Justin Gillard and Jason Gillard; great-great grandson, Kaleb Thompson, Jr., and devoted caregivers Ashley Urso, Rose Wheatfall and Pam Boykin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Lawrence Raymond Hans, and son Lawrence “Nipper” Hans, Jr.
Serving as pallbearers are Kaleb Thompson, Ja’mikal Thompson, Terry Robertson and Eddie Boykin, all of Navasota; and Jessie Pitts and Billy Heyman, both of Plantersville.
