William Thomas

Mr. William "Bill" Thomas of Anderson passed away Monday, February 9th, 2009 at Sheridan of Navasota nursing home. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at First Methodist Church in Richards, TX on February 11, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. Bill was born July 7, 1916 to Paul and Nellie (Denny) Thomas in Houston, TX. He was married to Anna Mae (Gutkowski) Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a rancher in Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Thomas, parents, Paul and Nelly Thomas, and grandparents. Bill is survived by his Son, Bill Thomas, Jr., of Richards, TX. Serving as pallbearers were Dennis Husfeld of Navasota, Lt. Gen. Randy House of College Station, Craig Lolley of Richards, Tommy Thomas of Houston, Gary, Dutkowski of Friendswood, Lanny Moriarty of Richards, James Podraza of Montgomery, and Alan Burcynski of Richards. Honorary Pallbearers were Dan Moriarty, Terry Haley, Thomas Podraza, Maron Podraza, and Herbert Kammel.
