Mr. William “Billy” Peacock, 54, of Navasota, passed away Sunday, October 27th at his residence surrounded by family after a valiant battle with liver disease. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30th with family present from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 31st at 10:00 a.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Levi R. Gillespie officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Peacock was born in Taylor, TX on Monday, September 14, 1959, the son of William Edward Peacock and Anna Flo (Salyer) Peacock.
Billy married Linnie Mae Gillespie on July 13, 1978, in Anderson. He worked as a truck driver and was also involved with the Grimes County Little League Association. He enjoyed softball, fishing, hunting, camping, spending time with his family and most of all loved coaching softball. He is known to be the high school girls volleyball and softball team’s biggest fan and never missed a game. Billy lived life to the fullest and was a joy to be around.
Mr. Peacock is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Linnie Mae Peacock; daughters, LeeAnn Peacock of Navasota and Kathy Seaton and her husband Bobby, of College Station; sister, Tehama Storey and her husband James of Navasota; grandchildren, Hannah Seaton and Meagan Seaton of College Station; nephew, Bryan Storey and wife Mandi of Electra; niece, Tricia Storey of Snook; aunt and uncle, Gloria and Paul Karkoska of Millican, and many more loving, extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Kenneth Peacock.
