Wendell Lancaster, 80, of Navasota, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00pm on Monday, December 9th with a graveside service at 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Oakland Cemetery in Navasota with the Rev. Clyde Larrabee officiating.
Wendell was born on February 6, 1933, to the late John Cleburn and Bess (Fox) Lancaster in Cooper, TX.
He is survived by his longtime, devoted companion Ann Nobles and a brother, Garland “Bert” Lancaster of Fort Worth as well as four nieces and one nephew.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harold Lancaster.
