Wanda D. McClure, 77 of Navasota passed away Tuesday, January 2nd at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility in Bryan. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 6th at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Visitation with family and friends will begin prior to the service at 9:00 am. Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Wanda was born Feburary 8, 1940 in Waelder, Texas to Wesley Charles and Cora Lee (Halliburton) Beale. She married John McClure and together they had two daughters. Wanda loved spending time with her family and friends, baking for others, doing puzzles, watching baseball and going gambling. Her hobbies included making air fresheners and playing games with family and friends. She was a huge supporter of various Grimes County Youth Associations and the local animal shelter. Wanda had a soft spot for all animals. She was a devoted George Strait fan as well.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Doug Phillips and Tammy and John Trudelle; sister and brother-in-law Linda and David Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Ron and Gail Beale; grandchildren Michael, Kim, Keith, D.J., Jonathan, Eric and Lauren and great-grandchildren Gabriel, Bryce and Kinsley.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents and husband, John.
