Mrs. Vivian McCune

Vivian Grace (McClanahan) McCune, 89, of Richards passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 1, 2014. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, February 5th at Singleton Bible Fellowship Church with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Richards. The Rev. Floyd Hoke and Rev. Reagan Cooksey will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Vivian was born in Cleveland, Texas on September 23, 1924, the daughter of Hill McClanahan and Sara (Hogue) McClanahan. On January 4, 1946, she married J. L. McCune. Together, they raised two daughters.
Mrs. McCune is survived by daughters Tinabeth Keasling and husband Lawrence of Richards; Sara Kathryn (McCune) Keisler of Richards; a sister, Jenny Hamblen Dove of Cleveland; a sister-in-law, Louise McCune Hester of Trinity; grandsons Jimmy Brown of Richards and Troy Keasling of England; granddaughters Jennifer Zbylot and husband Tim of Richards and Lori Grace Weaver and husband Tracy of Richards; four great grandchildren, Shelbi Lara and husband Shannon; Ashley Zbylot, Tyler Weaver and Ryan Zbylot, all of Richards; and one great great granddaughter, Rayni Grace Lara; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband J. L. McCune; a sister, Hugh Doug Wellborn and granddaughter Molly Keisler.
Serving as pallbearers are Eric Wellborn of Navasota, Floyd Keasling, Roger Shead, Bobby Smith, Tracy Weaver and Tim Zbylot, all of Richards. Honorary pallbearers include Tommy Hester, Doug Wellborn, Neil Keisler, Robert Smith, Henry Hoke, Norm Schutza, Gary Audas, Mike Brimberry, Dean Keisler, Shannon Lara, Billy Yargo and Christopher Ridley.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that you consider leaving a memorial to the American Heart Association or The American Cancer Society.
