Vernon Nobles

Mr. Vernon Nobles, Sr., 77, of Navasota passed away Thursday, February 12, 2009 at Grimes St. Joseph Health Center in Navasota. Funeral services are being held at 10:00am Monday, February 16 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Vernon was born March 31, 1931 in Navasota to Eugene and Alma (Brewer) Nobles. He married Christine (Kroll) Nobles in Anderson, TX, on February 27, 1954.
Mr. Nobles is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Alma Nobles; sisters, Sally Tyler and Doris Moreland; brother, Ernest Nobles and grandson, Kevin Klawinsky.
Mr. Nobles is survived by his wife,Christine Nobles; daughters and sons-in-law, LaVerne Klawinsky of Navasota, Peggy Nobles of Navasota, Sandra and Todd Dobson of Coldspring, Kathy and Johnny Martinez of Navasota, Karren and David Rivera of Navasota; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald Nobles of Denton, Leonard Nobles of Old Washington, and Vernon Nobles, Jr., and Blanca of College Station; sisters and brothers-in-law, Effie & Alford Addicks of Brenham, Pearl and Henry Joe Roese of Old Washington; sisters-in-law, Ardie Nobles of Old Washington and Thelma Nobles of Navasota; brothers & sisters-in-law, Thomas and Lois Nobles of Navasota, Shorty and Gerry Nobles of Navasota, Irving and Evelyn Nobles of Hempstead and Joe Nobles of Corrigan; brother, Russell Nobles of Navasota; brother-in-law, Ernest Moreland of Navasota; 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Lanny Klawinsky, Juan Martinez, Jr., Brian Rivera, Jason Dobson, Glenn Nobles and Jeff Rangel, all of Navasota. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Nobles, Cody Nobles, Matthew Nobles, Leonard Nobles, Jr., and Michael Nobles.
