Mr. Travis Wayne Bushman

Travis Wayne Bushman, 40, of Montgomery passed away Thursday, October 27th at Vitas Hospice in Conroe, Texas. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Monday, October 31st at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of his life will be at 10:00am, Tuesday, November 1st, also at the funeral home. Rev. Munroe Rice will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Travis was born February 6, 1976 in Bryan, Texas to Richard “Buddy” and Pam (Monroe) Bushman. He graduated from Iola High School and attended Sam Houston State University, receiving his Bachelors in Criminal Justice and Masters of Criminal Justice Management. He married Chelsea Wells October 20, 2012. Travis was a Deputy Constable at Harris County Constable Precinct 4.

Travis enjoyed spending time with his children and wife as well as visiting the family ranch in his free time. He had a witty personality that could fill a room with laughter. He never met a stranger and was a loyal friend to many.

He is survived by his parents, Buddy and Pam Bushman of Roans Prairie; wife Chelsea of Montgomery; son Blake and daughter Addison, both of Montgomery; sister and brother-in-law Vicki and Craig Hillert of Roans Prairie; niece and nephew Lauren and Lane Hillert of Roans Prairie and grandmother Dorothy Bushman of Roans Prairie.

Serving as pallbearers are Clay Crenshaw, Stephen Sprague, Casey Baggett, Danny Weis, Craig Hillert and David Weis. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Hansen and Jed Dunn.

Travis was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William Bushman and maternal grandparents Dewey and Rae Monroe.
