Mr. Thomas Joe Acosta, 38, of Navasota passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2010. A visitation will begin at 5pm Thursday, November 4, with a parish rosary beginning at 7pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Friday, also at the chapel with the Rev. Timothy Bucek officiating. Rite of committal will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Thomas was born in Houston on January 30, 1972 to Juanita Gonzales. He loved to bar-be-q, listen to music, and hang with friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Aurelia Acosta; niece, Cecelia Acosta; and cousin, Jessie Cantu.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Brzymialkiewicz Acosta of Navasota; mother, Juanita Gonzales of Hempstead; children, Thomas Acosta, Jr., Krysten Acosta, Tabatha Acosta, and Makaylyn Brzymialkiewicz, all of Navasota; sisters & brother-in-law, Patricia & Carlos Grimaldo, and Katrina Acosta, all of Hempstead, and Vickie Gonzales of Waller; brother, Augustine Acosta, Jr. of Navasota; and grandparents, Augustine Acosta of Huntsville, and Maria & Juan Gonzales of Grand Rapids, MI.
Serving as pallbearers are Augustine Acosta, Jr., Thomas Acosta, Jr., Derrick Figueroa, Philip Reyes, Sammy Figueroa, Henry Flores, Fabian Figueroa, Jose Mata, Eloy Gonzales, David Vilanueva, Carlos Grimaldo, Steven Flores, and Sergio Morales.
