Tehama Ann Storey, 64, of Navasota, Texas went to her final resting place on February 5, 2014 surrounded by her family, after a battle with pancreatic cancer. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 8th at 11:00 am at the Millican United Methodist Church in Millican.
Tehama “Tate”, as we all knew her, was born in Temple, Texas on July 1, 1949 to the late Ann and William Peacock. She was a 1967 graduate of Bartlett High School. Soon after, she married James Edward Storey on August 17, 1968, in Elgin, Texas.
She was a medical transcriptionist for over 30 years. Tehama loved to fish and take care of her rescue animals. Tate loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to all of their sporting events.
Tehama is survived by her husband of 46 years, James Storey; two children, Tricia Storey Schultz and husband Randy of Snook, Texas and Bryan Storey and his wife Mandi of Electra, Texas. She is also survived by her grandchildren Christopher Wheeler and wife Sarah of Newport News, Virginia; John Wheeler and Kimberly Wheeler of Snook, Texas; Brody Storey of Electra, Texas. “Tate” is also survived by her first great-grandson Theodore James Wheeler.
Tehama is preceded in death by her infant son, Kenneth; her parents William and Ann Peacock; and two brothers; Billy and Kenneth.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to True Blue Animal Rescue in Brenham, Texas and/or Millican United Methodist Church.
