Susan Boggess

Susan Boggess of Anderson, TX was born January 14, 1947 in Houston, to Edward & Beulah Humphrey. She died May 1, 2010 in College Station. A memorial service is set for 2pm Friday at Anderson Methodist Church with reverend Henry Sanders officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Lovett Boggess of Anderson; mother, Beulah Humphrey, also of Anderson; and sister, Shirley Dunderstadt & husband Carl of Plano, TX.
Susan worked for many years for the Social Security Administration. More recently she served as Commissioners Court Coordinator for Grimes County. She was very active in civic organizations serving for more than ten years as president of the Anderson-Shiro Consolidated School Board of Trustees. She served as president of many organizations, such as Grimes County United way; Grimes County Heart Association; Grimes County Child Welfare Board; Central Texas Child Welfare Board; and Grimes County Crimestoppers. She was also District Director of Business and Professional Women.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests anyone wishing to do so to contribute to the Anderson Cemetery Association, or to your favorite charity.
