Shields “Peewee” Prescott, Jr, passed away Friday, April 1, at CHI Grimes St. Joseph Hospital. A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 7, at 2:00 PM in Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Matthias Dinger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Shields was born in Bryan, TX, on September 12, 1946, to Shields & Mardell (Kelso) Prescott, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Peewee is survived by his wife Diann Prescott; sister Deborah Prescott; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary & Jean Prescott and Michael & Carolyn Prescott; nieces and nephews, Shane, Celeste, and Paige; special family friends, Lisa Hilley Abke and Hattie & Rachel Abke; and canine companion Callie.
