Sgt. Mark Allen Butler

June 25, 1990 — January 15, 2025

Navasota, TX

Emblem

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends" John 15:13.

Mark Allen Butler, of Navasota, passed away January 15, 2025, at the age of 34. Mark truly knew that it was more of a blessing to give than to receive. His generosity knew no bounds and his final act was laying his life down for others.

Mark was a loving father of two who would help anyone. His radiant smile and big blue eyes lit up any room he entered. He enjoyed working out and lived life to the fullest. Mark especially loved spending time with his family, friends, and his beloved dogs, Kilo, Beaux, Koda and Piper.

Above all, Mark loved his wife Evette deeply. Anyone who knew Mark, knew his love and devotion to her. Although Mark is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

Mark is survived by his wife, Evette Fannin Butler; his children, Elias and Ezra Butler.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. A Celebration of Life will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025, at Central Church Bryan-College Station. A reception will follow at the VFW Hall in Navasota.
