Roy Donald Seal

Roy Donald Seal, 87, Army Veteran, Tarleton graduate, shootist, construction engineer, died August 1, 2024, in his home. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, in Hico Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Roy was born on September 3, 1936, in Tulsa, Oklahoma on an Indian reservation hospital. He spent his last month’s sharing his vast knowledge on everything from business, hunting, shooting, and life itself. His only wish was to die at home in his bed, which his final wishes were honored. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Olan Seal; his mother, Bennie Lee McCook Seal; his sister, Grace Joree (Seal) Chadwick; his brother, Daniel Seal; and his nephew, Bill Chadwick.

He is survived by his foster son, James M. Kemp; his foster daughter-in-law, Linda Kemp; his foster grandson, James Kemp Seal; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Honoring Roy’s life as Pallbearers are Jimmy Kemp, Justin Kemp, Ty Kemp, Mark Salango, Buddy Weisinger, Frank McCook, Clay Harper. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are Larry Bole, and Charles Blackley.
