Robert Armand Trunnell, 82, of Navasota passed away Saturday, January 19, 2008 at the Conroe Medical Center. A memorial service is set for 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 21 at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota with John LeFlore officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Robert was born on September 7, 1925 in White Oak, Illinois, son of Omir (Williamson) and Clarence Trunnell. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 5 brothers and sisters, wife, Juanita; special long-time companion, Jo Robinson; stepsons, Clay, Gene, & Bob Arie; and stepdaughter, Elizabeth Deegan.
Robert is survived by his daughters, Shirley (Byron) Stalter of Hudson, IL, Mary Trunnell of Bloomington, IL, and Ruth (Dean) Miller of McLean, IL; sons, Robert, Michael, and William Trunnell of Bloomington, IL; stepdaughters and their spouses, Charlene Ward & Larry Bell of Conroe, TX and Cathy & Roger Phillip of Chekota, OK; stepsons and their spouses, Charles & Emilie Robinson of Roans Praire, TX, Sam & Carla Robinson of Bedias, TX, and Frank Aria & his wife; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous step great-grandchildren.
