Robert Hare

November 26, 1934 — July 27, 2010

Mr. Robert W. (Bob) Hare, 75, of Carlos passed away Tuesday, July 27. The family will receive visitors from 6-8pm Friday, July 30 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Saturday, July 31 at Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church in Keith with the Rev George Malice and Rev. Larry Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Carlos.
Bob was born November 26, 1934 in Cuero, TX to James and Lois (Holland) Hare. He married Marvinee Kolbachinski in Texas City on February 18, 1956. He was Past Master of Orphan's Friend Lodge # 17 A.F. & A.M., and was one month shy of receiving his 50 year pin. He was also a deacon at Glenn Rose Baptist Church in Houston and served in the U.S. Army Reserves.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Stephen Babb.
Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Marvinee Hare of Carlos; daughters & sons-in-law, Karen & Joe Seale of Spring, and Amy & Fred Benham of Tomball; sons & daughters-in-law, Robert (Bobby) & Julie Hare of Conroe, and John & Susan Hare of Brenham; sisters, Nancy Canada of Austin, and Patricia Anderson of Klamath Falls, OR; brother, Larry D. Hare of Tyler; and grandchildren, Zachary & Matthew Hare, Sara & Joshua Seale, Juliana, Caleb & Tressie Hare, and Elizabeth Benham.
Serving as pallbearers are Robert Hare, John Hare, Matt Hare, Zach Hare, Caleb Hare, Josh Seale, John Ray Maxwell and Bill Kolbachinski.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to The Masonic Children & Family Services of Texas, or The Shriners Burn Hospital in Galveston.
