Mr. Robert Jacob Glass

Jacob Glass, 38, of Anderson passed away at his home on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, April 30th from 6:00-8:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 1st at 2:00pm at the Iola Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Lake Grove Cemetery in Iola. Rev. Mitchell Beene will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Jacob, or "Jake" to his friends and family, will be remembered most for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Diane and Jody Jernigan of Anderson; his father and step-mother, Allen and Nancy Glass of Teague; sisters and brothers-in-law Rebecca and Rodney Ramirez of Bryan and Stephanie and Robert Stoner of Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law Raymond and April Singletary of Houston, Charles Glass of Iola, Ashby Glass of Ft. Worth, Brian Glass of Navasota, Andy Ramsey of Teague and Bobby Ramsey of Normangee; nieces Kaylie Sisco, Taylor Billings and Kylie Scott Singletary; nephews Jerome and Coy Sisco, Jesse and Jody Billings, Tranton Scott Singletary and Greyson Glass;. Jacob was preceded in death by his grandparents, Aunt Robie Sanstrum and Aunt Jean Dixon.

Serving as pallbearers are Joe Bob Snook, Bobby Trant, Mike Wethington, Jerome Sisco, Coy Sisco and Scotty McKinney, all of Iola, and Jim Stanley and Shane Hassler, both of Madisonville. Honorary pallbearers are Jessie and Jody Billings of Alabama and Trenton Scott Singletary of Houston.
