Mr. Richard "Rick" Allen Brown

Richard "Rick" Allen Brown, 65, of Shiro passed away Thursday, August 31st at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient facility in Bryan, Texas. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 10:00am, Wednesday September 6th at Shiro Baptist Church in Shiro, Texas. Rev. Jay Kott will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Rick was born September 6, 1951 in Houston, Texas to Jodie and Virginia (Baird) Brown. He enjoyed trips to the beach, watching movies, eating catfish and drawing. He particularly liked drawing anything having to do with cars and was quite good at it. He listened to vintage rock music and was a devoted fan of the metal band, KISS. Rick loved his little canine fur-baby, a terrier mix named Coco and the two of them just enjoyed living life.
He is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Dorothy and Richard Carrell of Shiro and Twila Phillips of College Station; sister-in-law Cheryl Brown of College Station; nieces and nephews Tami and Tom Perry, Melanie Paris, Jimmy Paris, Felicia Mayen, Chris and Michelle Brown, Christie and Steven Brown, Tiffany and Garrett Carter, Kathrine and Jason Dewberry, Robert and Skylar Brown, Harold Goodnick, Robert Brown and Paul Brown Martinez and many great nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents; Jodie and Virginia “Banny” Brown and brothers Lonnie, Claude, Robert and Kenneth Brown.
