Mr. Raymond "Rip" Barker

Raymond "Rip" Barker, 74 of Peach Creek, passed away Saturday, February 6th at Scott & White Hospital in College Station. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, February 11th from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, February 12th at 2:00pm at the funeral home with his brother Harold Barker officiating.
Raymond was born on December 22, 1941, to Tom Hill & Ina Mae (Allen) Barker. He was preceded in death by his parents; son Chris Barker; and brother Tommy Barker.
Mr. Barker is survived by his daughter Beckie Barker of College Station; sons, Robert & Tim Barker of Crystal Beach, Billy Barker of College Station, and Danny Barker of Lamesa; brothers, Donald Barker and wife Frances of Colmesneil and Toby Barker and wife Barbara of Eden; sisters, Barbara Snyder and husband Frank of Missouri City and Shirley Perry and husband Andrew of Caldwell; sister-in-law, Helen Barker of Sulfur Springs; grandchildren, Jimmy, Jennifer, Amanda, Brandi, Rachell, and Katie; and 5 great-grandchildren.
