Pauline Bachmeyer Mock, 84, of Montgomery passed away Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Tuesday, with a parish rosary beginning at 7pm at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Wednesday, also at the Church with the Rev. Ed Kucera officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in the church cemetery. Services are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Pauline was born in Plantersville on July 17, 1927, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Ann (Herzog) Bachmeyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Philip Mock; brothers, Alfred and J.C. Bachmeyer; and sisters, Clara Mock, Irene Bolatto and Louise Wischnewsky.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Lena Knight of Alvin, Dorothy and James Taggart of Pinehurst, Phyllis and George Hamilton of Montgomery, Patricia McCann of Sugar Land, and Lucinda and Nolan Conley of Spring; son, Daniel Mock and wife Jennifer of Dobbin; sister, Katherine Griffith of Houston; brother, George Bachmeyer of Pearland; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Samuel Knight of Pearland, Brian Mock of Dobbin, Alexander Conley of Spring, Tracy McCarty of Montgomery, Belinda Kirtley of Tomball and Erica McCann of Sugar Land.
