Mrs. Pam Smith, 53, of Navasota passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at St. Joseph Regional Hospital. A visitation will be held Friday, February 22nd from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a prayer service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with the Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at Buckhorn Cemetery in Moody with the Rev. Jimmy Don Farmer officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

Pam was born on April 6, 1959, in Temple, Texas. Pam married Kelly Smith on March 19, 1976 in Winters, Texas.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her mother, Portia Alewine; grandmother, Josie Inez Previtt and cousin, Evelyn Donahue.

She is survived by husband, Kelly Smith of Navasota; father, Michael Don Alewine, Sr of Laverne, Oklahoma; daughter, Delores Smith of Navasota; sons and daughters-in-law, Kelly and Rachel Smith of Navasota, Michael and Kelly Smith of Navasota, Bryan and Misty Smith of Hempstead and Chris Smith of Navasota; sisters and brothers-in-law, Lovie Garza of Navasota, Evelyn and Elmer Buckelew of Winters, Abriljean Rankin of Virginia; Renae Wynkoop of Virginia; Rose Glover of Rogers, Hazel Grissom of Cross Roads; Joanna Carter of Cross Roads and Melanie & Michael Karnowski of Moody; brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Stephanie Farmer of Brenham, Michael & Christine Farmer Jr. of of Laverne, Oklahoma and Dean and Peggy Johnson of Coleman and thirteen grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Elmer White of Moody, George White of Moody, James White of Moody, Claude White of Moody, Elmer Buckelew of Winters and Joey Farmer of Temple.
