Nolan Barth

Mr. Nolan William Barth, 83, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2012. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday from 5-7pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Wednesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Donald Kasper officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Nolan was born in Fredericksburg on December 6, 1928, to Max & Edna (Langbein) Barth. He Joined the US Army and fought in the Korean War earning a Bronze Star. He worked for Tenneco where he was employed for 29 years. On September 19, 1953, he married Lou Ann Falkenbury.
He was preceded in death by his father Max Barth, his mother Edna (Langbein) Barth, his son Kermit Eugene Barth, his niece Beverly Marie Schwarz and his brother in-law Royston Kothmann.
Nolan is survived by his wife, Lou Ann (Falkenbury) Barth of Navasota; his daughter and son in-law, Sharon Elizabeth (Barth) and Wayne Allen Ganske of Navasota; his sons and daughters in-law, David William and Tammy Kay (Thompson) Barth and Robert Nolan of Baytown; his sister Merdie Mae (Barth) Kothmann of Harker Heights; 6 grandchildren, Reggie L. Barth, Brandon W. Ganske, Chase A. Ganske, Dixie L. Barth King, Austin J. Barth and Robin R. Barth; 1 great grandchild, Gracelynn Ann Ganske and a number of nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Serving as pallbearers are David W. Barth, Robert N. Barth, Brandon W. Ganske, Chase A. Ganske, Brandon P. Jones, Dixie L. (Barth) King, Cody W. King, Austin J. Barth, Reggie L. Barth and Robin R. Barth.
