Natalie Shive Bosse, 83, of Richmond, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2008 in Needville.
Visitation will be at St. John's United Methodist Church in Richmond on Sunday, June 22 with the family present from 5:00-6:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 23 at the church with Rev. Nancy Ross Creason officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Natalie was born on September 12, 1924 in Centerville, daughter of Willie and Mabel (Price) Shive.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, T.H. (Tom) Bosse; son, John Mark Bosse; parents; sisters, Mae Matney and Ouida Stolz; and brothers, Willie and Wilson Shive.
Natalie is survived by her daughter, Anne Schmidt of Richmond; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom & Carol Bosse of Needville and Gary & Gayle Bosse of Guy; brother-in-law, Dave Matney of Centerville; sisters-in-law, Juanita Shive of Navasota and Nelda Shive of White Hall; grandchildren, Wyatt & Amy Bosse, Wade & Teresa Bosse, Carolanne & Russ McAfee, Ryan Bosse, Emily Bosse, Trey & Jessica Schmidt; great-grandchildren, Jacob Bosse, John Bosse, Mark Bosse, Lauren Bosse, Justin Bosse, Jodi McAfee, Kelly McAfee, and Samantha Bosse; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Methodist Youth Group in Richmond or Needville United Methodist Church Youth Group.
The family would like to especially thank the nurses and staff of S.P.J.S.T. nursing home in Needville and the nurses of Houston Hospice.
