Myrna Chapman

Mrs. Myrna Chapman of Hempstead, Texas passed away on October 7th at the age of 73. Myrna was born on October 8, 1937 in San Angelo, Texas to Noel and Inez Reed. She was a graduate of Hardin Simmons University with a Bachelor's degree in Business, and retired from the Waller County Appraisal District.
She loved spending her time with family and friends, gardening, spoiling her dogs, cooking, admiring hummingbirds, and reading. Anyone who knew her was blessed by her giving nature, kindness, loyalty, strength and embracing personality.
Myrna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Ray Chapman, her sister, Jerry Hensley, and her parents Noel and Inez Reed.
In God's care she leaves, her daughter, Pamela Jones and her son, Gregory Chapman. Her granddaughters include Shanna Tenoria and husband Gerry, Ashley Vojtek and husband CY and Miranda Chapman. Her grandsons are Colton Chapman and Dylan Jones. Her great grandchildren are Zaria Tenorio, Alyssa Tenorio and Cameron Vojtek. Myrna has one surviving sister, Leslie McCabe; husband Jimmy, and son Matthew. Her other nephew, Mort Smith, wife Barbara, son Curtis, and daughter Callie.
A memorial service will be held at 10am on Friday, October 14, 2011 at the Noble Funeral Home in Navasota, Texas. Burial will be at the Paint Rock Memorial Cemetery in Paint Rock, Texas on Saturday, October 15, 2011.
