Mr. Mitchell Wayne Molitor, 63 of Navasota, passed away Saturday, July 20th at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 pm, Thursday, July 25th at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A celebration of his life will be Friday, July 26th at 10:00 am, also at the funeral home. Rev. Henry Sanders will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mitchell was born on March 9, 1956 in Navasota, Texas to Alford and Willie Irene (Luce) Molitor. He wad one of six children. Mitchell enjoyed all types of yard work and gardening, and made his living doing yard work for others as well. He was a huge Texas Ranger baseball and professional wrestling fan as well as classic country music. Many of his fondest memories were of camping with friends at the cabin on the Sabine River. Mitchell looked forward to the annual family reunion, but his health had prevented his attendance the past couple of years. He was eagerly anticipating being able to make it this summer.
Mr. Molitor is survived by sisters and brother-in-law Florence and Gary Crenshaw and Shirley Molitor; brothers Clifton and Jerry Molitor; nephews David Crenshaw, Benjamin Minor and Bradley Minor and nieces Melony Molitor, Candace O’Brien and Breana Molitor. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, Alvin, Edward and Daryl Molitor.
Serving as pallbearers are Frankie Imhoff, Brandon Young, Mark Armatys and David Crenshaw.
