Mrs. Mildred Breedlove, 93, of Navasota passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at Hospice Brazos Valley Inpatient Facility. Visitation with the family will be Monday, September 26 from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27 at 10:00am at Friedens Church of Washington U.C.C. with the Rev. Greg Felder officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mildred was born in Washington on February 9, 1923, the daughter of Otto & Olga (Bosse) Kolkhorst. After graduating from high school she married Ervin Schaefer. Several years after Ervin’s death, Mildred met and later married Lawrence Breedlove. Mrs. Breedlove was active in the church and was a member of the Friedens Women Fellowship and the Fun in Fellowship as well as the Sons of Herman.
She was preceded in death by her parents Otto & Olga Kolkhorst, husbands Ervin Schaefer and Lawrence Breedlove, son Raymond Breedlove, sister and brother-in-law Babe & Ervin Reichers, brother-in-law Clifford James, son-in-law Jim Long and many other loved ones.
Mrs. Breedlove is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Terry Ann Campbell, Jeanette Long, Sharon & Alan Dobbins, and Pat & Terry Wisdom; sons and daughters-in-law Flo Breedlove, Danny & Lynette Breedlove and David Breedlove; sister Ora Nell James, thirty grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Michael James, Michael Schluens, Karl Harborth, Brandon Warren, Raymond Breedlove, Jr., Jason Breedlove, Chris Addison and James Bowen. Honorary pallbearers include Jackie Breedlove, Neal Bosse, Edward “Fred” Kolkhorst, Harold Kolkhorst, Walter Schroeder and Hollis Lehrmann.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Friedens Church of Washington U.C.C. or Hospice Brazos Valley.
