Michael Long II, 26, of Navasota passed away Sunday, July 31. Visitation will be held Wednesday and Thursday from 8am - 5pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Funeral services are set for 10am Friday also at the chapel with the Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. A private burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Michael was born in Bryan on November 26, 1984, the son of Michael and Denise (Haffner) Long. He was just an overall good guy and everyone loved him. He loved horses, soccer, skateboarding, boating, swimming, and hanging out with friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his mother; sister and brother-in-law, Miranda and Daniel Julian of Spring; grandparents, Larry and Janet Haffner of Ohio and Barbara Robinson of Ohio and Leroy Long of Hearne; aunt and uncle, Larry and Terri Saxon of Ohio; nephews, Hunter, Joseph, Austin, Nathaniel and Riley Julian of Spring; cousins, Josh Saxon, Zack Saxon and Emily Strout of Ohio; and numerous other uncles, aunts and cousins.
