Michael Greene

Michael Todd Greene, 8, of Roans Prairie passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29 in the Anderson-Shiro High School Gym. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Michael was born July 12, 2002 in Roans Prairie, the son of Todd & Cheli (Perry) Greene. He was a second grader at Anderson-Shiro Elementary School and participated in Grimes County Soccer, Grimes County Little League, Anderson-Shiro Little Dribblers, and the Grimes County Fair Peewee Shows. He was a vibrant, cheerful little boy and had a personality that one couldn't help but love.
He is survived by his parents, Todd & Cheli Greene; brother, Sean Winn; and grandparents, Mike & Johnnie Greer, Doyle Wayne & Peggy Perry, and Kay Greene.
Serving as pallbearers are Sean Winn, Javier Rivera, Ryan Rivera, Travis Hightower, Bryan Brown, Joey Stem, Jeremy Cook and Jaret Sechelski. Honorary pallbearers are Trevor Hightower, and Landon Stem.
Memorial funds have been set up in Michael's honor at the First National Bank of Anderson, and the First State Bank of Bedias.
