Maxine R. Lee, 57, of Anderson, passed away Friday, July 25, 2008 at her home surrounded by friends and family.
Visitation will be held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson on Monday, July 28 beginning at 5:00 p.m. A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 29 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with the Monsignor Adam McClosky, Monsignor Chester Borski, Rev. Louis Sikorski, & Rev. Ed Kucera officiating. Rite of committal will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Maxine was born on May 3, 1951 in Pasadena, daughter of Albert and Helen (Cone) Kimich. She volunteered as the secretary of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church for over 30 years. She was also a member of the Holy Name Society, the Altar Society, the Catholic Daughters, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert John Kimich; father-in-law, J. B. Lee; and her grandparents.
Maxine is survived by her husband, Ernest Lee of Anderson; mother, Helen Kimich of Anderson; daughter, Katherine Lee of Anderson; sons and daughter-in-law, Mike & Rachael Green of Richwood, TX and Bernard Lee of Anderson; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jeanette & Tom Upton of Navasota, Mary Jane Langdon of Houston, Patricia & Sam Broadway of Houston, Linda & Sewell Stewart of Iola, Joyce & Tim Horton of Anderson, and Pauline & Wayne Fread of Navasota; brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon & Linda Kimich of Anderson and George & Wyndy Kimich of Navasota; and 3 grandchildren, Carley Lee, Cody Harman, & Trenton Green.
Serving as pallbearers are Shaun Pruett of Anderson, Jon Jarvis of College Station, Michael Wrobleski of Anderson, Alex Kimich of Houston, Brian Lee of Tomball, and Hoyt Wichman of Anderson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Stanislaus Catholic Church or Hospice Brazos Valley.
