Maurine Morris, 83, of College Station passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at her residence. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 9 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry Andrews officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday with the family present from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Maurine was born Monday, April 20, 1925 to Adrian Garvin and Ellie (Davis) Allen.
Mrs. Morris is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jade Morris of Liberty; brother, A.G. Allen of Anderson; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.S. Morris; and sons, Allen Dale Morris and Randy Earl Morris.
