Mrs. Marylyn Grube Warzon, 75, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, Decmber 20, 2008 at her residence. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the family present from 5:00 -7:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Friedens UCC in Washington. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
Marylyn was born December 11, 1933 to William Henry & Erna (Borgstedte) Grube in Washington. She graduated from Navasota High School in 1952 and received her LVN from Blinn College. While working as a nurse in the Grimes County area, she married Edward Warzon on September 20, 1953. Marylyn was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Womens Fellowship of Friedens, and the Sons of Hermann.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward Warzon, son Robert Leon Warzon, and brother Wesley Grube.
She is survived by her daughter Cherie Sullivan and her husband Bill of Navasota; sons, David Warzon and his wife Linda of Washington and Kevin Warzon and his wife Tina of Navasota; sisters, Gloria Joswiak of Brenham and Joanne Floyd and her husband Ronnie of Roans Prairie; brother-in-law Carl Walker of Navasota; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers are Dennis Grube of Chappell Hill, Mike Grube of Houston, Roger Dean Burns of Plantersville, Ronnie Warzon of College Station, Rodney Floyd of Roans Prairie, Matthew Sullivan of College Station, Kyle Warzon of Navasota, and Travis Warzon of Washington. Clay Yorek of College Station is an honorary pallbearer.
