Mary Jane was born to Albert and Helen Cone Kimich in Navasota, TX, on July 29, 1957. She was the 4th of 9 children. She graduated from high school and went on to earn her bachelor's degree in early childhood development.
The Catholic Church was especially important to her as she taught Sunday school for many years and was a proud Godmother and confirmation sponsor.
Mary Jane enjoyed going on adventures with her 2 daughters such as visiting the Cabrini Shrine in Golden, Colorado where they filled jugs of holy water on Easter Sunday. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren that she devoted most of her life to. Her oldest grandson was blessed enough to tell her how much he loved her on her last day of life.
Mary Jane was preceded in death by her parents Helen and Albert Kimich; her sister Maxine Lee; and her youngest daughter Janice James.
She is survived by her oldest daughter Heleen and her husband Chris Abele; her grandchildren, Zachary Wingate, Cain and Chloe Abele, and Madelyn James; along with her brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
