Martin Keith, 44, of College Station, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 16, 2024, in College Station after a long battle with his illnesses. A graveside service to honor his life will be Saturday the 25th of May, 2024 in Bryan City Cemetery.
Martin was born in Highland Park, IL, on February 20, 1980, and adopted by his parents Elbridge Gerry Keith and Carolyn Martin Keith a few weeks later. He was raised by his loving family in Evanston, IL. Martin would make the best out of all situations with respect and kindness toward all and he was our fun-loving mischief maker. His greatest joys in life were his four children, Jared, Brionna, Nicolas, and Travis and his two nieces, Sophia and Serena. Martin attended San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, CA, and completed his culinary certificate where he took a particular interest in baking; he enjoyed cooking for family gatherings. Martin, a quiet man, went about his way and would eventually meet the ultimate love of his life, Jennifer Luna Keith. Martin and Jennifer would spend countless hours with family and friends. They so loved each other’s company they couldn’t contain that joy. Jennifer’s untimely passing in 2017 left Martin devastated. Martin showed his love through acts of service to others, and that also came by way of being a delivery driver and customer service employee with DoubleDave’s Pizzaworks for the past 6 years, where he met Hailey Peterson whom he married in 2019. He and Hailey found themselves having become deeply bonded at the end of his life.
Martin loved anything related to tech, camping, and finding out more about his Scottish heritage, he was a movie, and TV show aficionado, likely seeing a movie before you’d even heard of it. He would frequent the Texas Renaissance Festival every year with his pirate crew and would frequent Harvey Washbangers every Sunday.
Martin was preceded in death by his first wife, Jennifer Luna Keith.
Martin is survived by his parents E. Gerry and Carolyn Keith; his sister Barbara Keith Bliss and her family; his children Jared Keith, Brionna Houseman, Nicolas Keith, and Travis Keith; his grandson Jacob Ryan Keith; his biological brothers DJ, Christopher, and Jamal Dunning; his Jennifer’s sisters Jessica Luna Gamboa, Leticia Luna, Amanda Luna Martinez, and Elaine Luna Contreras and their families; and his dearest friend and wife Hailey Peterson.
Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed.
