Mark Steward

Mark Steward, 54, of Anderson, passed away Sunday, June 24, 2007, in College Station.
He was born on February 11, 1953, in Big Springs, Texas, son of Alice Marie Roth and Charles Edward Steward.
Mr. Steward enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on race trucks, and the outdoors.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 29 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be at 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 28 at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Steward is survived by his wife, Christy Sontag-Steward of Anderson; step-daughters, Ashley Walkoviak of Navasota, Jessica Walkoviak of Bryan; sons and daughter-in-law, Justin and Audrey Steward of Bryan, Collin Steward of Bryan, Matthew Steward of Bryan-currently serving in Iraq; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Ken Stockton of Channelview, Debra Ann and Don Wertz of Dayton, Nevada; brother and sister-in-law, C.R. and Patty Nicholson of Palestine; and one grandchild Justin Marcus of Bryan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Alice Steward, and brother Johnny Nicholson.
