Margaret Barnette

Mrs. Margaret Ann (Walkoviak) Barnette, 79, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital. The family will receive visitors from 5-7pm Tuesday, July 27 at Nobles Funeral Chapel with a parish rosary beginning at 7pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, July 28 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson, with the Rev. Henry Walker officiating. Rite of committal will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Barnette was born in Anderson on August 31, 1930 to Mike and Eleanor (Pasket) Walkoviak. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Houston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Barnette; son, Eugene Barnette; and grandson, Eric Barnette.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Rosson; and sons, Mike, Wendel, Donnie, Lester, and Darrell Barnette; and 5 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital.
