Madelaine Carol Jackson was born on February 11, 1947, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania to Orin and Betty Jo Leathart. She passed away in Houston, Texas on September 14, 2023.
She is survived by husband, Sherman Jackson of Houston; daughters, Katherine Hallenbeck and her husband, Christopher and Brenda Richey and her husband, Gene of Cypress, Texas; grandchildren, Shelby Thigpen and her husband, Hunter of Cypress, Texas; Emily Hallenbeck of Chicago, Illinois, and Jax Hallenbeck of Cypress, Texas; brother, Harvey Leathart; and sister-in-law, Shirley Leathart of Sealy, Texas.
Madelaine is preceded in death by her sister, Marilynn Leathart of Washington, D.C.
A Celebration of Life honoring the legacy of Madelaine will be held at Madeley Chapel of Oakland Cemetery, 801 6th Street at Blackshear, Navasota, Texas on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at 3:00 PM
