Lyston G. Schaefer, 85, of Navasota passed away Saturday, July 7, 2007, in Navasota.
He was born on November 14, 1921, in Navasota, son of Cornelia Meyer and Gus Schaefer.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10 at Salem Lutheran Church Cemetery in Whitehall with Reverend Donald Kasper officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Schaefer is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sandra & Don Lazrine of Hempstead; sons and daughter-in-law, Gerald & Carol Schaefer of Deer Park, and Reed Schaefer of Navasota; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin & Billie Schaefer of Willis; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Schaefer and parents, Gus & Cornelia Schaefer.
