Luis Martinez,

Mr. Luis Martinez, Jr., 28, of Navasota, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the College Station Medical Center. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15 at Nobles Funeral Chapel from 5-7pm with a parish rosary recited at 7pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday at Christ Our Light Catholic Church with Rev. Raul Marterior officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Navasota.
Luis was born October 6, 1980 to Luis & Gloria (Lopez) Martinez, Sr.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louisa & Joe Lopez.
Survivors include his parents; sister & brother-in-law, Alexandria Martinez & Franklin Matute of Navasota; brother & sister-in-law, Mark & Karen Lopez of Houston; nephew, Benjamin Martinez of Navasota; and grandmother, Trinidad Guzman of Mexico.
Serving as pallbearers are Franklin Matute of Honduras; Louise Martinez, Victor Alvarado and David Martinez, all of Bryan; and Sergio Garcia, Gilbert Hinojosa and Marcelino Surita, all of Navasota.
