Lucille Lee

Mrs. Lucille Bay Lee, 99, of Richards passed away Saturday, June 20, at Kindred Health Care Hospital in Houston. Visitation was held from 5-7pm Monday, June 22 at Nobles Funeral Chapel and funeral services were set for 10am Tuesday, June 23 at Bays Chapel Methodist Church in Richards with Rev. Jason Bay and Rev. Floyd Hoke officiating. Interment followed in Richards Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Lee was born in Bays Chapel, TX, October 15, 1909 to Andy and Ellen Bay. She received her formal education at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville earning a B.S. Degree on August 27, 1948, and M.A. Degree August 24, 1951. She taught primary education for 32 years in Richards Independent School District, and was a member of Richards Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Edward Lee.
Serving as pallbearers were Gerald Hoke, Jim Bay and Andy Bay, all of Bays Chapel, Douglas Hoke and Roger Shead of Richards, Jeff Bay of Iola and David Haley of Huntsville.
