Mr. Louis Pete Schelski, 92, of Humble, passed away Friday, April 24, 2009. Visitation will be held from 5 - 7pm Monday, April 27, with a parish rosary following at Nobles Funeral Chapel in Navasota. A funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, April 28, at 10am, at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia with Reverend Nicolas Pasadilla officiating. Rite of committal will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in Stoneham, TX.
Mr. Schelski was born July 14, 1916 in Anderson to John and Johanna Schelski, and he married Martha Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
Mr. Schelski is survived by his daughters Geraldine Cameron of Lumberton, MS, and Charlotte Louis and husband David of Humble; son, Gerald Schelski and wife Gloria of Houston; and sisters, Margaret Schelski and Pauline Brand, both of Houston; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pall bearers will be Ronnie Turan of Perkinston, MS, Dawayne Schelski, Jason Sanchez, Chase Sanchez, David Louis, Jr., and Spencer Louis, all of Houston.
