Lorena Yeager Reinhardt, 90, of Richards, passed away Saturday, July 18th in Cleveland, Texas. A funeral service in celebration of her life will be held at 10:00am, Friday, July 24th at Zion Lutheran Church in Anderson. Visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Rev. Kermit Bostelman will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mrs. Reinhardt was born in Iola on August 29, 1924, to Peter Bruce Yeager and Myra Ann (Beckham) Yeager. She married Gus Reinhardt and they settled in the Richards area where they enjoyed working together on their small farm. She worked for several years as a cashier for Wal-Mart, first in College Station and then at the Navasota store. She loved being outdoors, taking care of her cats and her garden and enjoyed traveling, particularly to her favorite casinos in Louisiana.
She is survived by three sisters, Alice Isbell of Gonzales, Rheba Burge of Porter and Dorothy Conner and husband Lee of Elgin; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gus Reinhardt; brothers Elbert Franklin Yeager and James Yeager; and sisters Reubena Byars and Edith Mae Denman.
Serving as pallbearers are Kenneth Conner of McMann, Tommy Conner of McQueeny, Shaun Conner of Elgin, Brian Conner of McMann, Stephen Carlisle of Porter and John Cascio of Liberty Hill.
