Lillie Stolz, 79, of Washington, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Gazebo Terrace Nursing Home in Brenham.
Visitation will be held at Nobles Funeral Chapel, Friday, May 23 with the family present from 5:00-7:00 pm. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday, May 24, at Friedens Church of Washington, UCC with Rev. Ron Trimmer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Lillie was born on January 24, 1929 in Washington, TX, the daughter of Ed and Olga (Lauter) Stolz.
Lillie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles William Stolz; parents; and sisters, Marion Wellman Hardwick & Norma Wellman Lubajasky.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane & James Gillespie of Brenham; son and daughter-in-law, Don William & Nancy Stolz of Hempstead; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Ollie Jane & Robert Walker of Washington, Vermel & Fred Thane of Navasota and Oscar & Cordelia Stolz of Washington; grandchildren, Amy & Craig Dunlap, Keith William & Shannon Stolz, John William Gillespie & Ann Gillespie; great-grandchildren, Addyson Lillie Stolz & James William Dunlap.
Serving as pallbearers are Charles Wellman of Navasota, Don Hinze of Washington, Keith Stolz of New Braunfels, John Gillespie of Brenham, Craig Dunlap of Dallas, Stuart Hardwick of Houston and Larry Dickschat of Rapid City, SD.
Memorials may be made to Friedens Church of Washington, UCC.
