Lela Modine Pardue, 81, of College Station passed away Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Magnified Health & Rehab Center in College Station. A graveside service is set for 10am Monday, December 13 at Oakland Cemetery with the Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. Services are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Lela was born April 18, 1929 in Corsicana to William & Willie Mae Miles. She married John Allen Pardue in Arkansas on January 21, 1952.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Dennis Miles; and sister, Caddie Cox.
Survivors include her daughter, Renee Sechelski & husband Gerald of Navasota; sister, Aldar Jean Day of Montana; brother & sister-in-law, Coy & Diana Miles of Navasota; brother-in-law, Lester Cox of Arkansas; sister-in-law, Judy Miles of Navasota; and grandchildren, Kim, Nicole & Garrett Sechelski, all of Navasota.
