LaVerta Bradley

Mrs. LaVerta I. Bradley, 86, of Baytown passed away Thursday, March 1, 2012, at the Green Acres Nursing Home in Baytown. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00p.m. March 5, 2012, in the Peach Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Clyde Larrabee officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
LaVerta was born in Prairie Dell, TX on September 1, 1925, the daughter of Marvin and Myrtle (Boyd) Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Bradley, Sr.; son, Ernest Bradley, Jr.; sister, Della Lou Turner; brother, Marvin Lee Turner; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Turner; and grandson, Jason McBride.
LaVerta is survived by her sons, Thomas Bradley of College Station and Glen McBride & wife Donnene of Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Richard Hartis of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Barbara & James Mayfield of Victoria; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Gus & Emma Lou Bradley of Baytown; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers are Richard Hartis of Baytown, Darby Hartis of Beach City, Marvin Harvey of Victoria, Spence Naismith of Dayton, Jacob McBride of Highland and Michael Dehoven also of Highland. Honorary pallbearers are Alexander Hartis of Beach City and Ryder Naismith of Dayton.
