Mrs. Launita Ann (Alvarez) Llanas, 35, of Navasota, passed away Tuesday, March 24th at her residence. Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Friday, March 27th at Nobles Funeral home. A rosary will be recited immediately following the visitation at 7:00pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 10:00am, also at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Rev. Sisto Alvarez will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Launita was born on July 4, 1979 in Houston to Teodoro Gonzales and Launita Alvarez. She married Juan Llanas on October 17, 2010 in Navasota. She loved animals and the family and friends in her life… a loving and caring individual who had a huge heart. She was a big fan of the Navasota Rattlers, the Diamonettes and the Rattler Band.
She is survived by her husband, Juan Llanas of Navasota; daughters Araceli and Celestina Llanas of Navasota; son Adrian Llanas of Navasota; sisters and brother-in-law Christy Martinez of Navasota, Carmen Bernal of Navasota and Genevea and Vincent Vasquez of Sugar Land; brothers & sisters-in-law Ted and Katrina Gonzales of Wharton, David Gonzales of Houston, James and Eliza Alvarez of Navasota and Mikey Padilla of Stafford.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Serving as pallbearers are Adrian Llanas, Cassie Alvarez, James Alvarez, Jose Angel Llanas, Jr., and Desare Llanas, all of Navasota, Vivian Rodriguez and A. J. Ayala of Sugar Land, Alex Morin of Stafford and Alfredo Hernandez, Jr., of Houston.
