Kevin Fowler, 44, of Humble passed away Monday, July 9, 2007, at his home in Humble.
He was born on February 13, 1963, in San Antonio, son of Georgia May Long and Michael Gene Fowler.
Mr. Fowler served 20 years as a law enforcement officer in the Houston area, achieving the rank of Sergeant. He also served in the Honor Guard as a Peace Officer and was a Master Mason.
A funeral mass was held at 12:00 p.m. Monday, July 16 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Plantersville, with Reverend Edward Kucera officiating. Visitation was held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Sunday, July 15 from 5pm to 8pm. Rites of committal followed the funeral mass at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Plantersville.
Serving as pallbearers were Rob Francis of Huffman, Cecil Ford of Magnolia, Jack Sarber of Porter, Henry Elkin of Houston, John Hooper of Nacogdoches, and Thomas Gardner of Humble.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Fowler is survived by his mother, Georgia May Fowler; sons, Garrett Michael Fowler of Humble and Caleb Mitchell Fowler of Houston; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle & John Hooper of Nacogdoches; grandmother, Bertha Long of Navasota; and three nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Gene Fowler and grandmother, Viola Fowler.
