Kenneth Walkoviak, 49 of Roans Prairie, passed away Thursday, August 23, 2007, in College Station.
He was born on April 3, 1958, in Pasadena, Texas son of Frances Seigle and Arch Walkoviak.
A funeral mass was held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, August 26 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Anderson with Reverend Louis Sikorski officiating. Rites of committal followed in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Lester Sword, and Jr Covington, both of Bedias, John Eckert of Singleton, Steve Hirsh of Caldwell, Jerry Walkoviak of Navasota, and Leonard Matthews, Jr. of Iola. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Borski of Roans Prairie, Tommy Floyd, Jr. of Plantersville, Tom Seigle of Tomball, Roger Vezurk of Anderson, and Frank Deitrich of Anderson.
Arrangements were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Walkoviak is survived by his father, Arch Walkoviak of Roans Prairie; mother, Frances Walkoviak of Navasota; sons, Thomas and Michael Walkoviak, both of Roans Prairie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Larry & Jo Walkoviak of Henderson, Nevada, and Ron & Sharlene Walkoviak of Houston; four nephews and their families; and special friend, Theresa Phelps of Galveston and her sons, Ryan Phelps of Galveston, Charlie Phelps of Roans Prairie, and Brett Phelps of Houston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John & Martha Seigle, and Tom & Katherine Walkoviak.
