Kenneth Randall Priem

Kenneth was born in Austin, Tx, on September 11, 1941, to Gottlieb Henry and Ava Lee Priem.

He was welcomed home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 14, 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife Judy McCracken Priem and his eldest daughter M'linda Kathleen Priem. He is survived by his youngest daughter Amy Priem Jarvis and her husband Ross Jarvis of Navasota, grandchildren Ashton Jarvis and Ella Jarvis of Navasota.

He graduated from McCallum High School, where he met his wife Judy. Kenneth graduated from the University of Texas, where he received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering. After graduating he entered the University of Texas Law School, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence and began his career as a patent attorney for Texaco.

He and his wife Judy made their home in Austin, where they raised their two daughters, and attended Brentwood Oaks Church of Christ. Ken and Judy loved to travel, some of their favorite times were spent in Scotland and Hawaii.

He was a devoted husband and father and loved spending time with his grandchildren. You could always find him behind the lens of a camera, capturing each holiday, spring flower, or get togethers of family and friends.

A graveside service will take place in Elgin, TX, on October 25, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Elgin Cemetery, 901 West 2nd Street.

In lieu of flower the family asks that any donations be made in memory of Kenneth to Brentwood Christian School, in Austin Texas.
