Mr. Kenneth Camp

Mr. Kenneth Camp, 79, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014. Graveside services were held Monday, September 15th at 11:00am in the Masonic Memorial Cemetery in Seymour, TX. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, September 16th from 5:00-7:00pm at Nobles Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 17th at 11:00am at the First United Methodist Church of Navasota. The Rev. Tim Bruegger will officiate. A luncheon provided by fellow employees of Mid South Synergy will follow at the First United Methodist Fellowship Hall. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
Kenneth was born September 4, 1935 in Holliday, Texas to George Henry and Velma Irene (Slaughter) Camp. He married Joy Martin on June 17, 1956 in Seymour, Texas and together they had three children. He worked for several years for Mid South Electric and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Kenneth will be most remembered for his bright intellect and gentle, kind personality.
Mr. Camp is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joy of College Station; his daughter and son-in-law Cindi and Bob Blalock of College Station; son Charles Dale Camp of Kyle; sisters Carrie Graves of Seymour and Betty Feemster of Arlington; grandchildren Katie and Brooks Blalock and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Timothy Camp, brother George Camp and sister Annalou Miller.
