Ms. Katherine Ann Fuqua Bedford, 66, of Navasota, passed away peacefully Friday, September 20, 2013, at her residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013, in Erwin Cemetery outside Navasota with the Rev. Larry Andrews officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.
She was born on October 22, 1946, in Navasota, the daughter of Floyd and Helen Jean (McCutcheon) Fuqua. She graduated from
Navasota High School in 1965.
Katherine was a devoted mom not only to her children but many others as well. Her memories will be cherished and she will be loved forever.
Ms. Bedford is survived by her daughter, Carrie Lee Bedford of Navasota; son, Lawrence Richard Bedford II of Navasota; brothers, David Lee Fuqua of Navasota and Floyd Leslie Fuqua of Katy; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
